Description:

This reastaurant was initially a farmhouse, with a bell tower and a parish recreation centre, then it became an historical eating house which was given back its original atmosphere through some restoration works in 1998. It is an original rustic environment thanks to the use of bricks, to the old barn and to the oak-beamed. As for its exteriors, even the interiors of the restaurant maintain the furniture and colours typical of country farmhouses. In winter, the fire is always burning in the fireplace placed in the main room.

Cuisine:

TYPICAL AND TRADITIONAL CUISINE, true to the elements characterizing the lodigiana and south-lombard cuisine. Typical lodigiani products are used and sold.

Pumpkin flan with typical cheeses fondue • Polenta “rustida” and pork underbelly • Fresh “Luganega” • Lodigiano Salami • Nerves and beans • Raspadüra.

 

First courses:

“Pasta e fagioli” of the “Colombina” • “Mezzemaniche” with pork’s breast and vegetables.

 

Second courses:

Meat braised with the Roverone of San Colombano • Polenta.

Desserts:

Lodigiano mascarpone with our farmhouse’s biscuits: almonds, chocolate and pastry • Small cup of sweet Malvasia wine.
